translation

most maps are supposed to be readable by just about anyone.

but so many attempts by 'intellectuals' to develop 'cartographies' useful to the cause of social justice are completely illegible to those they are most meant to 'help.'

so instead of 'interventions,' let's push for collaborative projects. instead of one-way translation from western intellectuals to everyone else in the world, let's make the project of translation a 2-way street.
